About Dr. Rubien

Dr. Bonnie Rubien earned her Ph.D. in School Psychology, with a
specialization in Early Childhood from Temple University’s American
Psychological Association-Approved School Psychology program. She has
worked with school-age children in schools in Pennsylvania, New Jersey,
Delaware, and California – both public and private school as well as
residential special education schools. She has also worked with
preschool children in typical and special needs programs, including
children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Dr. Rubien’s experience includes psychoeducational assessment of
learning needs, behavioral assessment and development of management
programs, counseling of students, and consultation with
parents/families, teachers, school personnel, and other service
providers. She is a member of the National Association of School
Psychologists (NASP). Dr. Rubien states that “In my life-long journey
as a learner, I continue to attend workshops and seminars to further
enhance my knowledge base and to keep up-to-date with the current
literature”. As a certified school psychologist, Dr. Rubien is
committed to working with children and their families to promote optimal
learning experiences.
