PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Private Practice. Provide individual therapy; parent consultation and psychoeducational evaluations for children, adolescents, and their families. (1989 - present).

Coordinator of Clinical Services,Lower Merion School District, Ardmore, PA.  Administrative and clinical position. Responsible for coordination of the activities and overall supervision of the clinical staff; including psychologists, consulting psychiatrists, and social workers. Responsible for staff development presentations. Also responsible for placement and follow up of students requiring more intensive out-of-district programs; liaison with other agencies, as well as direct psychological services with students and families (1995 - 2005).

School Psychologist, Lower Merion School District, Ardmore, PA. Responsibilities included psychoeducational assessment, teacher consultation, developing behavior modification plans, parent support groups, in-service presentations. Involved in an early intervention research. study designed to identify At-Risk students in grades Kindergarten - First Grade (1992 - 1995).

Adjunct Faculty, Immaculata College, Graduate Program in Psychology. Courses taught included Intellectual Assessment; Personality Assessment; Psychoeducational Assessment; Treatment of Children and Adolescents; Exceptional Children; Seminar in School Psychology; Seminar in Psychotherapy. Other activities included individual and group supervision of practicum students, supervision of student independent research, and committee member for doctoral dissertations (1992 - present).

Adjunct Faculty, Temple University, Psychological Studies in Education, School Psychology Program Clinic supervisor for Psychoeducational Clinic. Supervisory responsibilities for both Master and Doctoral level students for this university based psychoeducational clinic providing psychoeducational assessment for children and adolescents in the community (1991-92).

Staff Psychologist, Devereux Foundation, Devereux Day School, Berwyn, PA. State Approved Private School for children and adolescents (ages 6 - 21) exhibiting a broad range of disabilities including emotional disturbance, learning disabilities, neurological impairments, pervasive developmental disorders. Responsibilities included clinical team coordination, individual and group psychotherapy, parent support-group leader, supervision of pre-doctoral interns and practicum students. A strong emphasis was placed on collaborative teacher consultation focusing on developing, implementing, and monitoring behavioral interventions (1987 - 1992).

Pre-Doctoral Internship - APA Approved, Devereux Foundation, Edward L. French Division, Gateway Campus. A residential treatment facility for 36 adolescent girls (ages 12- 21) diagnosed with severe emotional disturbance and neurological impairment. Responsibilities included individual and group psychotherapy, psychodiagnostics, consultation, program management. Participated in year-long advanced training seminars including psychotherapy, psychodiagnostics, group therapy, and a training module in neuropsychological assessment (1986 - 1987).

Acting Director of Pupil Personnel Services Lower Merion School District. This was an interim position for the Director of Pupil Personnel Services during a sabbatical leave. Responsibilities included overall supervision of pupil services activities for the district including the departments of special education, school psychological, guidance, and health services (August through December, 1996).

Consultant, Achievement House, Bryn Mawr,  PA. Provided psychological consultation services to this state-licensed, academic tutoring agency. Services included intellectual and academic assessment and consultation to the faculty (1995 -1996).

Member, Professional Advisory Board, Achievement House, Bryn Mawr, PA Private, state-licensed, academic tutoring agency (1996 - 2000).

Member, Professional Advisory Board, Children & Adults with Attention Deficit Disorder (CHADD), Main Line Chapter Provide assistance and guidance to the officers of this parent advocacy group (1995 - 2001).

Seminar Leader, Devereux Foundation, Institute for Clinical Training and Research. Responsible for teaching a year-long, weekly, didactic advanced psychodiagnostic training seminar to pre-doctoral interns within the foundation (1994 -1995).
