Services
for College Students

The presence of
learning disabilities or emotional problems no longer precludes a
college education, graduate school, and professional school.
However, assessment is important in selecting the best program for a
student with special needs. A student may require evaluation and
documentation of special needs by a psychologist to obtain
accommodations for entrance exams and in classes in accordance with
the American’s With Disabilities Act
(ADA). We provide
evaluations, documentation for special accommodations when appropriate,
and a variety of services to help students, particularly those with
special needs and their families, plan for college.
In addition to
evaluations and therapeutic services when applying for college and
beyond, we are available for therapeutic services for students while
they are matriculated. Whether with pre-existing problems or
adjustment and stress reactions to college, we can help.
