Working in a relaxed, comfortable office environment, we invite parents to collaborate with us to provide the most appropriate services for their children (preschool through college age). 

     Our practice is comprehensive, fee-for-service, and specializes in evaluation and treatment of children, adolescents, and their parents.  Services include individual therapy, parent counseling and psychological and educational testing.  Our approach is developmentally sensitive, with a diagnostic emphasis on individual differences and normal variation.  We guide parents through the maze of confusing and complex federal and state regulations related to special education and other services and with school placement decisions.  We work with children with a variety of issues including learning disabilities, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), autistic spectrum disorders, and emotional and social problems.  We also work with gifted children who need enriched programs.

     My practice has recently expanded to include additional psychologists.  I continue to see clients as well as direct the practice, providing the same high quality, individualized service, with the additional benefit of being able to accommodate more clients and a choice of psychologists.  My educational background includes a B.A. in Psychology, Magna Cum Laude; M.Ed. in Educational Psychology, and Ph.D. in School Psychology (American Psychological Association Approved Program).  I bring experience of over 20 years as a psychologist in public and residential schools, along with private practice during most of that time.  My experience includes teaching in graduate university programs, research, publications, and participation in professional organizations (such as Fellow of the Pennsylvania Psychological Association; Member of the American Psychological Association; Member of the Philadelphia Society of Clinical Psychologists; Member of Specialists of Schools).
