DR. BONNIE SOCKET
With more than 20 years of experience, Dr. Bonnie Socket has worked in a range of settings including residential and day treatment programs, public and private schools as well as private practice. As an adjunct faculty member, Dr. Socket teaches advanced graduate level courses in child assessment and treatment. She has extensive experience providing psychological and educational evaluations with a particular emphasis on individual differences and normal variation. Dr. Socket provides educational consultation services to parents as they seek the most appropriate school program for their child. Therapeutic services for children are also provided to help children learn appropriate techniques and strategies to cope more effectively with the stresses of daily living.
Dr. Socket is a Licensed Psychologist and Certified School Psychologist. She is a graduate of an APA-Approved doctoral program and completed an APA-Approved internship. She is a fellow of the Pennsylvania Psychological Association and a Member of the American Psychological Association, the Philadelphia Society of Clinical Psychologists, and Specialists of Schools. She is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Chester County Family Academy in West Chester, PA.
